mirtal I wish I could give this book yet another star. I would describe this book as a “slow-paced thriller. And again, I simply love the way this author writes, tangling emotion and even philisophical views on human nature into a face paced thriller. It’s been awhile but I remember a couple parts, I really should read it again. While the FBI uses the technology of the future and the psychology of the past to trap the brilliant killer, Harper realizes that he alone stands a chance of luring the kles madman into the open.

I’ve enjoyed many of Iles’ other books but Mortal Fear isn’t a favorite of mine but you have to enjoy the psychological drama and, tho out-dated inin 97′ it would have been better appreciated.
