I got into this series because of a friend and luckily she had all three copies and I only had to wait a few months for the 4th book. Okay so i know a lot of people have talked about the rape scene but honestly im having some issues believing that even bditain Estora was drugged she didnt take advantage of the king.

I said I liked the progression of the overall storyline, however, the storyline of the individual novels is getting a bit formulaic — there’s danger, Karigan dives into it headfirst, and then almost kills herself.
Stephen King cranks out longer books twice a year, thus making her stupid rambling null and void. We lost at least one more in this book. Britain seems to be banking on her having made such an impression with the character in the previous book that we, her readers, absolutely have to know what he’s doing during this one.
Firebrand Green Rider series: ANd the whole moonstone thing. At some point during the previous book that changed and while reading Blackveil it becomes clear that Britain isn’t even trying to tell a complete story.

Some of the secondary characters are really far more fun to follow. Karigan would always be compared to the beauty and kindness of Estora and that would taint the relationship. Or more precisely, the concern that Kristen Britain is starting to follow in the footsteps of Robert Jordan and making her fantasy series longer than necessary.
It’s more of a creative process for both the reader and writer and allows for good discussions and debates to arise, which is one of the joys of reading. There are plenty of really good authors out there who have multiple series they are writing, and they don’t take as long to publish.
Karigan grows tremendously as a person and in the end finds her own place in this world. This book seriously changes the way i felt about the charachters.
My emotions are so strung out from this book, and even though I’m about to jump right into my first reading of the 5th book perhaps this is the last one? They blzckveil all so real. She believes she is under orders from her god to find and wake the sleepers.
